About

This blog will showcase my journey for stylish fashion on a student budget. I am a third generation Chinese-New Zealander, and was born and raised here in NZ. In case anyone is wondering about the name-choice for the blog, its a reference to the pet name that I'm sure almost every Hannah in the world gets called (Hannah-banana), and also to the Kiwi-Asian 'banana' reference - yellow on the outside, white on the inside.

Especially by New Zealand standards , I am fairly petite. I am approximately 151 cm tall (5ft and 1/2"), and weigh about 42kg (93 pounds). My clothes are generally a size NZ 4-6 in women's clothes, although I am often able to get away with a size 12-14 girls size, with a NZ 5 (EU 36) shoe size. This sizing means I often find it hard to find styles and sizes that fit right, especially as no NZ shop (that I can afford!) makes a petite range.

I started this blog in the hopes that others will give ideas and comments on style and DIY projects, or tips on finding petite clothes on a limited budget.
