Last weekend was our hostel ball. It was so much fun and everyone looked super nice! There were some people there who I had only met once before, but everyone was making a huge effort to be more friendly! (The presence of alcohol probably also had a bit of an influence!) The theme for the ball was 'Once upon a time' and a lot of people came in costume - I obviously didn't get in on that though!

Forever New is an Australian clothing company. They specialise in really exquisite party dresses and shoes (plus accessories). I really love whoever their designer is! It is my go-to shop if I was looking for a nice dress (plus they make things in a size 4!). Most of the time, these things are $100+. Buuuuut, I always wait until the things I like go on sale. They have an online store
here, and are quite often running specials. Right now they are having a
30% off sale on certain items online and in store. Some of their styles in shoes and dresses are repeated (slightly differently) from year to year, so if you miss out, just hang around and it's quite likely that it will come up again!
They offer free shipping within Australia, and free shipping to NZ when you spend over AU$80. They also have an outlet store in
Dressmart Auckland (there are possibly others I don't know about). Unfortunately in Wellington, the Forever New is a bus trip away, so I generally wait until I go home (and then Mum can come "help"!) to look.
